Flying with three: half-term in Cyprus
15th June 2016
Remarkably no disasters! Two loaded iPads (ridiculous of course BUT how did parents take kids on flights without them??), a mountain of snacks & a haul of kids mags that ended up up being saved for the flight home.
We drove & dropped the car at Gatwick – easy peasy. Three car seats always seems too much for a taxi company. EasyJet dead efficient. Gatwick calm. Ish. Maybe because people cleared a bit space around us…
V took the flight instructions very seriously.
Lucy slept. For some of it.
Celia found lovely friends (and access to a third iPad).
Empire, the car company, met us at the gate with huge smiles and piled us into a rental complete with three kids seats.
We arrived at our former manager’s dad’s flat as the houses are full – which is dead nice btw – recommended to anyone who fancies somewhere less expensive than a house but but you def need a car.
Local MD Rosie had done the full set up for us: we arrived at midnight and this happened. It was magical. An icy beer in peace!
