The villa is located in Ayia Triada near Kapparis; a beach resort on the East coast of Cyprus just north of Protaras and Pernera. Kapparis is an up-and-coming town which has all the amenities of a bigger resort without the downsides. The villa is only 9 minutes walk in one direction to the safe sandy beaches and 8 minutes in the other to several restaurants and shops. There are more restaurants, bars and supermarkets in neighbouring Kapparis.

Beaches
There are 3 local beaches to choose from. It's just 9 minutes walk to the safe sandy beach at Ayia Triada (Trinity beach) a family beach ideal for toddlers to play at the waters edge safely. It is very well maintained and has sunbeds & umbrellas for hire (€2.50 a day).

The beach is a sandy crescent and has a small fishing harbour (you can get very fresh fish if you catch a boat coming in!) and Fisherman's church at one end which is always good for a stroll with the kids. Serena bay is a 10 minute walk and Golden Coast is 15 minutes walk on the way into Pernera; it's part of a large hotel offering all the normal facilities. You can drive and park at the beaches too if you've got too much to carry. All the beaches are sandy and very sheltered (so perfect for paddling) and along the edges of the coves there are rocky pools & caves to explore! The snorkelling is amazing.

Restaurants and Shops
Ayia Triada has several traditional restaurants offering local dishes and specialising in fish. A local grill house offers eat in and takeaway traditional Cypriot grilled kebab and burgers, if you fancy a lazy evening around the pool. Thelassa is an event venue offering jazz and other entertainment in their restaurant overlooking lawns and the beach.

Just down the road is Kapparis; a very family friendly town with around 10 great places to eat including Italian, Cypriot & Greek European. There is a very nice modern Italian place (called Just Italian) and 3 local Cypriot restaurants that we really like. Our favourite is Faliros where the food is fantastic, cocktails are 3 Euros and they have great entertainment on Thursdays! There are about 6 bars, ranging from Mello which is very relaxed with comfy soft sofas inside & out to relax on, to the sports bars that focus more on the latest sports and have pool tables etc. There are plenty of other shops and a fabulous bakery called Marangos which has every type of dessert you could imagine; cakes, breads, sweets and they do takeaway food like lasagne and roast chicken if you don't fancy cooking.

There are 3 supermarkets in Kapparis that cover all the basics; food, fresh fruit and veg, frozen foods, children's essentials (nappies, baby food etc), fun things for pool and beach, and a well stocked off-licence that sells beer and wine called Bottom's Up! Just up the road is a fabulous butchers and further shops with more choice for fresh fruit and veg.

Children's Activities
Kapparis has a great children’s play area with a huge choice of bouncy castles, giant inflatable slides, trampolines and other rides. There’s a parent’s area for relaxing (with a drink and food if you want) while the children play in the park.

There are two nearby airports:

Larnaca Airport is a 60 km (36 mile) 45 min drive
Paphos Airport is a 170km (100 mile) 2 hr drive.

Travel from airport to villa

Car hire – plenty to choose from. Some will meet you in the arrivals hall, a few have desks there and some are located just outside the airport. We can recommend a good hire car company that meets you as you come out of the arrivals hall.

Transfers – again plenty to choose from. We have worked with a fantastic transfer company for many years that beat the others on both price and service. They cost €50 each way for 4 people plus luggage and provide child seats for no extra cost. Just let us know your children’s ages and they select the appropriate seat. Its €70 for up to 6 and €80 for up to 8 people. They know all our villas well and make sure you are settled into the villa before they leave you.

Taxi – there is normally a queue of taxis waiting outside the arrivals hall, so a nice and easy although expensive option.

N.S. - October 2018

Just wanted to say thanks so much for our stay, we had a great time and loved the villa concept, made things so so much easier and the the kids absolutely loved it and so did we. The villa was really clean and well maintained, the toy choices available were brilliant (I’m going to get some for home) for inside and outside, lovely having books and DVD’s too, amazing to have the stair gates and all the kid friendly features, with a car the location is brilliant-so close to loads of restaurants, just so many great things. We will definitely come back to one of your villas and would probably plan a next trip around your locations, wish you had them everywhere :) so thank you so much. Also, really grateful to you because you have been so great at responding so quickly to us in everything and giving us so many details and everything and doing everything for us so last minute so thank you for that, made such a difference.

S.D. - September 2018

Having a private pool was wonderful. Weather was fab. We enjoyed a lovely family holiday in the sun.
Your company is a dream to book through, there’s every chance we’ll come back to you. It’s a great company, booking is stress free. Until next time!!

G.C. - August 2018

We’d definitely book again with you and recommend you.
The villa is very modern and suitable for a young family. The location is great.

P.S. - May 2018

A lovely villa equipped with all the comforts of home. Your own pool with the added security of safety fencing, with a lovely sandy beach only a walk away. All of our needs were met and accommodated by the villas 4 kids representative Rosie from the moment we arrived to our departure. Having age appropriate children's toys supplied is an invaluable bonus. We would highly recommend this holiday experience to families of all ages. Will definitely be booking again.

S.A. - April 2018

Many thanks for a fantastic villa to spend our holiday in. Rosie was outstanding!
It was so helpful having the toys available. Both my children loved them and even introduced my younger little one to things I hadn’t thought he’d enjoy!
The best thing about our trip was the relaxation, knowing the children were happy playing and also safe. And the worst was going home!

R.T - August 2017

Our children enjoyed the toys, books, DVDs inside but didn't really play outside - we were too busy in the pool and at the beach!
On your recommendation we went to Thomas's and loved it, Karas and that was fab and Faliros which was also brilliant. All local towns cater superbly for children. We found all the beaches to be of a high standard, including the facilities!
You have both been extremely helpful. From my initial contact. All my questions were answered promptly and we can not fault your recommendations. The arrival information was fantastic.
I would definitely use and recommend Villas4kids again. We had a wonderful holiday and our boys are much more confident and stronger swimmers thanks to the pool (which was one of the reasons for the holiday). It was clear you had put a lot of thought into the Villa (there was Tupperware!!) and this made the holiday more enjoyable. Many thanks for the recommendations for the beaches, restaurants and the car hire company - once again faultless. If we come back we will definitely use Villas4kids.

X. - August 2017

Everything was perfect since our arrival! It was possible to park the car right in front of the house. Access to the villa was quick and easy and inside the house we found a book written by the owner / manager with all the information and advice a tourist needs. Very useful. The barbeque, the private pool and the outdoor table were fundamental to make us enjoy in total relaxation, the time spent at home. We also enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning and stereo. Only 8 minutes drive for those who want to have fun in Ayia Napa at night. The £250 bail was fully repaid, despite an incident at the door. A perfect blend of comfort, privacy and easy access to the main attractions. Thank you so much Rosie and Chris!

S.M. - June 2017

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the time we left. We were able to park right out front of the villa and access was easy. We were welcomed by Rosie who was very friendly, knowledgable and made us feel right at home. There was a book in the villa which was full of useful information and advice for our stay. Brilliant idea. The private pool, outside seating, barbecue and children's toys to entertain our children made our stay that much more relaxing. Will definitely be returning.
